DEVELOPMENT SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS IS GUARANTY ECONOMIC STABILITY

This article contains information about SMEs, defined by its role in the development of the national economy.
Allocated characteristics and approaches the definition of small business are the criteria for the appropriateness of its existence, which includes not only the saturation of the market in goods and services but also increased competition , the formation of a strong middle class. Analyzed and generalized functions small businesses and formed on this basis their benefits. In the comparative analysis is presented the role of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine , the USA, Japan, France, found that the percentage of employment in this segment is negligible share of export orientation also small, but the share of GDP is the majority. Tracked that of the Ukrainian willing to create their own businesses and highlighted the reasons why not to do. The program of measures for state policy in the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses (major activity), stressed the importance of reforming the existing system.
In conclusion indicated a global need to formation a viable small businesses that are possible with the effective interaction of the entrepreneur and the government, which is represented by the executive authorities and local self-government should provide not only financial support but also legal and social..
