THE CURRENT STATE, PROSPECTS, PROBLEMS AND REFORMATION DIRECTION OF UKRAINIAN FISHING INDUSTRY
Проведена оцінка поточного стану рибної галузі України та проаналізовані основні проблеми, тенденції та перспективи її розвитку. Досліджено ряд напрямків реформування в галузі.
Проведена оценка текущего состояния рыбной отрасли Украины и анализ основных проблем, тенденций и перспектив ее развития. Изучен ряд направлений реформирования в отрасли.
From the ancient times Ukraine was characterized by favorable geographical descriptions and huge potential for agricultural development. This economic sector’s production forms 18-20 % of Ukraine’s national income. But nowadays Ukraine’s agriculture does not develop at full capacity. And this situation is caused by various factors. The one of the most critical sphere in agricultural complex is fishing industry. There was a huge potential of these industry unless privatization has began. But nevertheless it still has some opportunities for recover. Article is devoted research of fishing industry, its potential, problems. Some attention was paid to some specific problems and factors which influence on this industry. Also the competitive ability of fishing industry products, conditions and features of production activity were studied. Estimated the current state of Ukrainian fishing industry and analyzed the main problems, trends and prospects of its development. Different reformation direction of the sector were researched. Based on the analysis examines the economic prerequisites for the development of fisheries of Ukraine, identified priority areas for its development.
